Advanced training with health net
Alburgh Rescue recently completed special training with the Health Net critical care helicopter team. This valuable experience enhances our ability to provide critical care and transport services when every second counts.
What we've been up to.
This past year, 2025, Alburgh Rescue has seen a significant increase in providing mutual aid to our neighboring communities. While we've experienced a slight decline in aid received, we remain dedicated to supporting our partners and ensuring comprehensive EMS coverage in the region. We are Dedicated Professionals committed to the safety of our community.

Free, hands-only CPR training
Alburgh Rescue is proud to offer free "Hands Only" CPR training for community members. Equip yourself with life-saving skills and gain the confidence to act in an emergency.
Some of the trainings we have provided in 2025 include:
Assisting Islands in the Sune senior center purchase an AED and training some of their members in CPR and the use of the AED.
We trained the faculty at the Alburgh Club House daycare center in First Aid & CPR.
In the spring of the year, we taught Hands-only CPR to the Middle School kids here in Alburgh.

Full-time crew availability
Alburgh Rescue is proud to maintain a full-time crew at the station during daytime hours (6am - 6pm), six days a week. This ensures a rapid response and enhanced availability for medical emergencies in our community. Feel confident knowing that we are always ready to serve!
